This little snack is like a rice krispie treat, but instead of rice kripies we used cheerios. We could have added healthy things like almonds, raisens, and dried cranberries...but instead we added M & M's...because there isn't enough chocolate found at our house around Easter! The recipe was a winner. Enjoy!

INGREDIENTS
5.5 cups mini marshmallows
3 tablespoons butter
6 cups cheerios
1-3 drops of food coloring
1-2 cups of M & M's (or dried fruit, chocolate chips, or nuts)

PREPARATION
Place butter and mini marshmallows in saucepan over medium heat. Measure cheerios into a bowl. Add food coloring to marshmallows and butter mixture. Continue stirring until color is distributed and marshmallows and butter are melted. As soon as mixture is ready, add cheerios and fully incorporate. Then add M & M's or extras. Press mixture into a greased 13 x 9 inch casserole dish.
