I love hot chocolate, I also love sprinkles, so before Christmas we made these. Then I found the cutest bunny marshmallows in the grocery store and decided to translate that fun Christmas project into an Easter project. We made this fluffy beverage last weekend and it was delicious and is now Riley approved. It is also a great activity with the kiddos. The twins got a little sprinkle happy. Can you blame them?

Hot Vanilla Spoons:
20-30 disposable spoons
1 Package of vanilla candy melts
Decoration (sprinkles, bunny marshmallows)
Follow the candy melts package instruction to melt candy. The type I used that is linked above, and comes in its own pan so all you have to do is place it in the microwave. While the candy is melting, line two cookie sheets with wax paper. Next, dip spoons one at a time into the candy and coat spoon. Quickly place the coated spoon on the wax paper and decorate with your choice of topping. Once all the spoons are coated place the cookie sheets in a safe area to cool. The spoons will be ready for packaging within a couple of hours.

Note: I only made four spoons that day, so you can make as many or as few as you like. Just don't let anything get into you candy melt tray. When you are done seal the candy melts up in a ziploc bag and they will be ready and waiting for the next project. Speaking of the next project... come back later this week I have another candy melt project coming your way.

To make this fluffy sweet delight I put 2 % milk into my milk frother and warmed up the milk. I stirred my sprinkle and marshmallow covered spoon into that milk and added marshmallows and a paper straw. That simple and such a hit with my kiddos.
