Printables: Dear America

This week in my household we have spent a lot of time talking about America and what makes it so special.  We have watched, "Schoolhouse Rock", read about the Constitution and the Star Spangled Banner, made eagles out of our footprints and talked about how blessed we are.  So to see if they picked up anything from all we talked about I created this, "Dear America Letter" printable.  It is a great way to start a conversation with your kiddos and would be a darling activity for the kiddos during your festivities on Saturday.  My kids answers were cute and funny, and a little off topic.  When I asked my niece why she was proud to be an American she said, "because I like to say boom, boom, boom", and my daughter is "proud of the beaches".   Seeing this holiday through the eyes of a kiddo make it even more special!
