Real Party: Nautical First Birthday

Presently, the play room in my house is covered in freeze dried strawberries, cheerios, and raisins, and I should be picking them up but instead I am blogging.  Don't tell my husband. #motherhoodisglamorous! 

I just could not put off posting about this party another minute!  I shared the invitation here, and I shared two recipes from the brunch here and here, so I figured it was time to show the rest of the details. 

First, I cannot take credit for the creativity on this one, my friend Tracy, who claims to be the least creative person came up with all the cute plans with a little help from her Dad on the nautical names, her Mom on the menu and her husband who turned their organic garden into a sailboat. Not too mention the birthday boys big sister, Avery (age 3), who made the steering wheel for the ship and helped put together the cupcake toppers.
