Real Party Plan

Recently, I had a client request a bit more than paper.  She inquired about help from the initial planning stages to the decor.  She was looking for menu planning and a great cocktail.  I was happy to help and thought I would share with you a little bit about the services I can offer you in terms of planning. 

Our first step was to go over the plans that she and the other host had already made.  They had an invitation, cocktail napkins, a location, and the majority of the menu had been planned.  My client wanted to make sure that she was able to pull together a really special shower for her friends. She did not want to miss the little details she could use to make it unique, so that is where I came in. 

The shower invitation had paper bunting on it. Between that and the relaxed menu they had planned,  the theme became a simple summer supper with paper bunting everywhere.  

After going over all of her wishes I got to work.  I sent her an email full of links to items she would need for the evening, and then I sent her an estimate on the products that I could provide for her.  She followed up with pictures of her home, where the party was held, and I sent her a pictorial guide of where I recommended placing everything from the bunting, to the flowers, to the paper lanterns and the bar.  I also suggested table linens, serving pieces, flower arrangements, and something decorative for the front door.  

Below you can see the, "party in a box" that I sent to her before the party.  I hear it was a success and look forward to working on another event with my new friend.
